FAQ
Are children welcome?
Absolutely! Please include them in your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. We'll also have a kids' area set up with bubbles, toys, and a few activities to help keep the little ones entertained throughout the evening.
What should I wear?
Whatever you're comfortable in! The celebration will be outdoors, so please dress for the weather. Sarah will be wearing white, and a few of our closest friends will be wearing black, so we'd appreciate guests avoiding all-white or all-black outfits.
Allergy Notice
To help ensure everyone can comfortably enjoy the celebration, we kindly ask guests to avoid wearing coconut-scented sunscreen, lotion, perfume, body spray, hair products, or other fragranced products containing coconut.
We really appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us create a safe and enjoyable day for all of our guests.
Can I bring my own drinks?
Of course! We'll have beer, cider, and plenty of non-alcoholic options available, but feel free to bring your favourite beverage if you'd prefer something else.
Can I stay overnight?
Yes! If you'd like to bring a tent and stay the night, we'd love to have you.
Do you have a gift registry?
Nope! Your presence is more than enough.
Do you have a food allergy or dietary restriction?
Please let us know when you RSVP so we can make sure there are options for everyone to enjoy.
When do I need to RSVP by?
Please RSVP by July 15th so we can finalize seating and food.

How We Met
Like many great love stories, ours started at a pub.
A few years before we started dating, Dave was a customer at Rusty's while Sarah was working as a server. She would occasionally bring him a beer and thought he seemed pretty cute and nice, but was far too shy to say much more than, "Can I get you another one?"
As it turns out, Dave thought Sarah was pretty cute too, but he wasn't saying anything either.
Naturally, neither of us did anything about it.
Fast forward a few years. Sarah had returned from travelling through Southeast Asia, and Dave had become a regular at Rusty's, making friends with the staff and other regulars along the way. One night after her shift, Sarah sat down for a drink with Dave and another server. Thanks to a few mutual friends who were clearly tired of waiting for us to figure things out ourselves, we finally started spending time together.
Over the next few months, we became friends through trivia nights, music bingo, and hanging out with the regular crowd.
Eventually, Dave asked Sarah out.
She said no.
So he asked again.
Still no.
Then he asked a third time.
Also no.
In Sarah's defence, Dave was at Rusty's often enough that she was genuinely concerned he might be a bit too much of a regular. It wasn't until months later that she realized he wasn't there for the beer nearly as much as he was there for the people.
Eventually, Sarah realized she was ready to say yes. Rather than waiting for Dave to ask a fourth time, she made the first move and kissed him herself.
And the rest is history.
Since then, we've shared countless adventures, road trips, vacations, home projects, and renovations. We continue to make each other laugh, drive each other crazy, and debate just about anything and everything, sometimes all at the same time. Along the way, we've built a pretty great life together.
We've had a lot of adventures since that first drink at Rusty's, and we're looking forward to many more. Thank you for being part of our story. We can't wait to celebrate with all of you.
